It is a high‑vacuum metal Dewar flask for downhole logging tools.Featuring multi‑layer vacuum insulation and optional phase‑change heat‑absorbing materials, this passive thermal‑management enclosure houses sensitive electronics and batteries within logging instruments.

 

Deep hydrocarbon wells have extreme bottom‑hole temperatures beyond the safe limits of logging electronics and lithium batteries. Unprotected components would overheat, fail and cause data loss. The Dewar flask suppresses heat ingress, maintains internal components within acceptable temperature limits over operational periods, avoids electronic burnout and ensures reliable data acquisition in high‑temperature downhole conditions.
