SG-48 The piston balanced new pulse generator is developed based on the on-site conditions and requirements of domestic drilling, and is an upgraded product of the commonly used mud positive pulse signal generator. It can be directly exchanged with QDT and YST-48R MWD pulse generators to improve the performance of existing instruments. The schematic diagram of the structure is shown in the figure:
Features:
1. Designed a new screening cylinder. Replacing the commonly used screening cylinder, compensating outer cylinder, and outer cylinder, the overcurrent mode of the three screening screens has been eliminated, making the structure of the new pulse integrated. A new titanium steel cylinder grate screen has been designed, using a circular sieve tube for flow passage, making the outer surface of the new pulse generator streamlined, effectively controlling the generation of mud eddies, improving mud channels, making mud flow more reasonable, and reducing mud erosion on the instrument. Enhanced wear resistance, extended service life, and reduced maintenance costs.
2. Designed a built-in balance piston. Replacing commonly used compensation membranes and bellows, using a piston for pressure compensation which improves the reliability of the pulse generator. Extended the maintenance cycle from 600 hours to 800-1000 hours, making it more suitable for deep well operations.
3. Power saving. We have designed new driving (excitation) and fully electronic driving power supply modes, which have extended the battery power supply time. The single battery has increased from 160 hours to 260 hours.
4. A new valve stem return mechanism has been designed, simplifying the original spring rod mechanism. Make the new pulse generator work more stably。
5. Through the above design improvements, the length of the pulse generator has been shortened, making the gamma probe closer to the drill bit, simplifying the structure, reducing the number of vulnerable parts, improving the service life, extending the working time and maintenance time, and reducing production costs.
