What should we pay attention to when using FOG for oil well inclination measurement?

1. Instrument calibration: must be strictly calibrated for the FOG before use to ensure the accuracy of measurement.

2. Environment assessment: understand the temperature, pressure, humidity and other environment conditions of the oil well to ensure FOG can work normally under these conditions.

3. Installation and fixing: correctly install and firmly fix the FOG to prevent displacement   or loosening during logging,affecting the measurement results.

4. Cable integrity: check the cable connected to FOG to ensure that no damaged and short circuit, to ensure the stability of signal transmission.

5. Data recording frequency: according to logging requirements and actual situations, set the frequency of data recording reasonably to ensure sufficient data quantity and avoid data redundancy.

6. Cleaning and protection: keep the FOG clean to avoid oil,dust and other impurities into the instrument, provide appropriate protection for the instrument to prevent collision and damage at the same time.

7. Preheating time: according to the requirements of the instrument instructions,give enough preheating time to make the FOG reach a stable working state.

8. Signal interference: pay attention to the possible electromagnetic interference sources around, take measures to reduce the interference to the measurement signal.

9. Personnel training: operators should be familiar with the operating process and precautions of the instrument,and have the ability to deal with emergencies.

10.Data backup:back up measurements data in time to prevent data loss.

11.Comparison verification: compare and verify with other inclinometer methods or instruments if conditions permit, to ensure the reliability of measurement results.

12.Regular maintenance: maintain and check the FOG at specified intervals, replace worn or aging parts.
